“There is a quality of life here that doesn’t exist around the world.
There is a stronger sense of community and place here than anywhere I’ve ever been.”
Yale Norris, new resident on Kangaroo Island.
Kangaroo Island is large and has only a small population, but its people are diverse, skilled and its community welcoming and engaged.
This website has been developed in a collaboration between Kangaroo Island Council and the Kangaroo Island Futures Authority, in response to community input.
It provides a central, easy-to-navigate information source on the community services available to our region.
This website will help you find out about services provided to Kangaroo Island by government, non-government and community organisations, from education and health to emergency services and employment opportunities
Our community invites connection and participation in many ways, so there is also information about volunteering, sporting and social groups.
Use the topic icons above to find the service you need.
